Our favorite tank, the REI Cozumel, has an eco-sensitive fabric and is slightly longer and leaner than previous versions. Organic cotton/Lycra® spandex rib-knit fabric is very soft, nonpilling and maintains its shape. Toxic pesticides are eliminated in every step of the growing process of organic cotton, resulting in far less impact on the environment. With the absence of pesticides and fertilizers used in conventional farming, wildlife and insects are allowed to thrive around organic farms. With a UPF 50+ rating, this tank's fabric provides excellent protection against harmful ultraviolet rays. Scoop neck and discreetly cut armholes provide an attractive silhouette, front and back. Shoulder straps are narrow yet maintain good shoulder coverage. Features self-fabric neck and armhole binding.
